Engine lineup: six ways to power a truck
The 2026 F-150 offers six powertrains: the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 (325 hp / 400 lb-ft), the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (382 hp / 500 lb-ft), the 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid (420 hp / 578 lb-ft), the 5.0L V8 (400 hp / 410 lb-ft), the Raptor's high-output 3.5L EcoBoost (450 hp), and the supercharged 5.2L V8 in the Raptor R (720 hp). Properly equipped, the F-150 tows up to 13,500 lbs with a maximum payload of 2,440 lbs.
Why the PowerBoost Hybrid makes extra sense in BC: beyond the fuel savings in Lower Mainland stop-and-go traffic, the hybrid's Pro Power Onboard turns the truck into a mobile generator, enough to run power tools at a site with no service, or keep the essentials going at a campsite in the Fraser Valley.
